From the St. Paul Auction Committee, May 6, 2020 –
Due to the size of our event and the continued social distancing requirements, we will be postponing the Auction to next year. We also understand the extreme financial strain that the quarantine has caused many of our local businesses and supporters. These are our community partners and we feel that now is a time for us to be there for them, rather than ask for their financial support.
Thanks to the early support of sponsors and donations, we are able to gift the school over $20,000 at this point and will continue to raise money until we can hold the main event.
We are planning a smaller event for the fall where we auction the class displays, the St. Paul items and the infamous “Parking Spot!”
Our current Sponsors will continue to receive advertising throughout the summer and next year.
Dinner tickets purchased will transfer to next year. You will retain the early purchase discount and will be guaranteed a table at what will surely be a sold-out event! We will all be ready to celebrate!
Unfortunately, there is still a huge need for scholarships for our fall enrollment. We would like to appeal to anyone who has it in their heart to contribute to the Craig Thomas Scholarship Fund. Donation cards will be mailed out and donations may also be made online at www.stpaulauction.com

Each year, St. Paul Lutheran School of Farmington hosts a benefit auction and dinner which serves as the school’s largest fundraiser of the year. Our 2020 event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at St. Paul Lutheran School. The theme of the auction is Race for the Roses, a tribute to the Kentucky Derby.
They say it takes a village and that sentiment certainly applies at St. Paul Lutheran School. Unlike public schools, we do not receive state or federal funds but must rely on tuition. The generous support of the St. Paul Lutheran Church congregation and fundraisers cover the costs of educating our children at approximately $5,700 per student.
We recognize that St. Paul’s exceptional standard of high quality Christian education is made possible in part by the generous financial support of our community. Our business sponsors receive valuable exposure before, during and after this event via the auction’s website, media releases and interviews as well as being featured in the auction book the night of the event.
