Custom Watercolor Portrait of one person painted from a photograph that winning bidder supplies.  The custom portrait will be the same size as this sample, which was painted from the attached photo.  The finished portrait will be matted and framed.   Portrait is 10×14.  It is matted and framed in a wooden gold 20×23 frame.

Police Detective For The Day

What an opportunity for your child to see the day to day operations of a Police Detective at the Park Hills Police Department with Detective Sergeant  Michael Kurtz.  Start off meeting Detective Sergeant Mike Kurtz at the Park Hills Police Department at 9:00 AM.  You will spend your day meeting the officers of the Park Hills Police Department.  You will be given an in-depth tour of the Police Department and hang out in the bullpen with the other officers on duty.  You will get to do fingerprinting, learn how to process evidence and perform an interrogation.  Detective Kurtz  will show you all the working of a patrol car including the lights, sirens, and radar equipment.  (Notice:  NO ride-alongs are permitted due to police insurance policies.)  You will also tour the courtroom and lean about the court process.  Detective Kurtz will treat you to lunch and your child will receive an “Honorary Jr. Detective” shirt to wear.
NOTE: An Adult must accompany the child.  No ride-alongs in Patrol Car are permitted due to insurance restrictions.  Must be for a mutually agreeable date and will be from 9:00AM until 2:00PM.upon that day.  Please understand Detective Kurtz may need to reschedule at the last minute due to unforeseeable case related circumstances.  Contact Park Hills Police Department 573-431-3122 ask for Detective Kurtz to arrange specific date in advance.  Expires March 1, 2017.

Fireman For A Day

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a day as a real fireman stationed at the Farmington Fire Department.  Your “Firefighter for a Day” adventure will start when you arrive at the Farmington Fire Department at 8:00 AM.  During your first day as a Firefighter  you will be assigned to Firefighter/Paramedic Eli Grimwood, he will guide you through your day’s activities.  The day will start with a hearty breakfast so show up hungry!  After Breakfast, Firefighter Grimwood will spend the morning giving you an in-depth tour of the Fire Department House, Fire Apparatus, and Specialty Tools and Equipment.  You will learn about all of the experiences Firefighters perform when they are not responding to calls for service.  These activities will take you up to lunch time at which time you will be provided a healthy lunch that you will enjoy with the Duty Crew of the day.  After lunch you will start your first day training to be a firefighter.  Your afternoon will be spent at the four story training tower where Firefighter Grimwood is going to train you to become a firefighter so show up rested because you have a lot to learn.  Your first day will end at 4:00 PM, after having a meeting with Fire Chief Mecey to discuss your first day as a Firefighter.  The Farmington Fire Department and the International Association of Firefighters Local #3705 ask that if this package is purchased for a young child, that they be accompanied by an adult during the entire day.  Transportation to and from the Training Tower (located in Farmington) will need to be provided by the responsible party.  A shirt size for our new Recruit and a minimum of two weeks notice are requested.  Expires May 1, 2017.
