Every day we come in contact with people who impact our lives in a heroic way. As we look around at our family, school, church, and community it is easy to pick out those few who make our world a little brighter. Here at St. Paul we want to honor our everyday heroes who not only started this school but have had the vision to make it the exemplary school that it is. We don’t want to stop there, we want to look beyond our school and church and recognize the heroes in our community that support and protect us.
The St. Paul Lutheran School Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction is the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year, providing the necessary funding to purchase items such as computer equipment, playground equipment, textbooks, specialty teachers’ salaries (reading resource, computer, art, physical education), continuing education for teachers, etc. In 2012, we achieved our second highest proceeds ever, only possible through remarkable donations and monetary sponsorships, as well as generous bidders, and volunteer efforts. Individuals and businesses realized the benefit of supporting St. Paul – not only as a business promotion, but also as an investment in the future. These same individuals and businesses are heroes to St. Paul because without them these things would not be possible.
We understand that budgets are lean, but we are prayerfully optimistic that the 2013 auction will be on your list in the new year. Our business donors receive valuable exposure before and after the event through pre-event promotions, auction web site listings and media announcements. During the auction itself, sponsors reach a target market (with discretionary income) of approximately 400 attendees and volunteers. This event has become one of St. Francois County’s premier social events, as well as one of the most successful fundraising events in the area.
The auction is scheduled for Saturday May 4, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran School in Farmington, Missouri. This year’s theme is Because of You: A Salute to Everyday Heroes. Your continued support in St. Paul Lutheran School is greatly appreciated and heroic in our eyes. Please feel free to contact any auction committee member for information, or contact us personally for assistance. Thank you very much for your support!Stacy Dickinson, Chairperson Lisa Short, Assistant Chairperson Michelle Gray, Assistant Chairperson
